after the great success of the 2010 yidaki retrait, we're very pleased to announce a new, even more intensive yidaki immersion retreat for 2012. It takes place in Disentis in the lovely Swiss mountains. The course comes in different modules for different degrees of experience with yidaki techniques.

Here are the details for the workshop:

What: Yidaki immersion training.

Content:

Day 1: Technique, 2 x 1.5 hours.
Day 2: Phrases, 2 x 1.5 hours.
Day 3: Advanced phrases/composition, 3 x 1.5 hours.
Day 4: Composition/advanced composition, 3 x 1.5 hours.
Day 5: Advanced composition/advanced freestyle, 3 x 1.5 hours.

Options:

Option 1: Standard immersion course, 12 hours tuition.
Attendance on days 1, 2, 3 + module 1 on day 4.

Option 2: Advanced immersion course, 13.5 hours tuition.
Attendance on days 3, 4 and 5.

Option 3: Full immersion... 19.5 hours!
Attendance on days 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Prices:

Option 1: CHF 400.-
Option 2: CHF 430.-
Option 3: CHF 600.-

Additional information:

In addition to the tuition costs above, there will be costs for accommodation and meals. We’ve been able to organize a chef for the entire workshop who will prepare all the meals for us.
We decided to provide accommodation and meals at cost which means that it gets cheaper the more people attend the workshop. Accommodation costs shouldn’t exceed CHF 33.- per person and night and full day meals shouldn’t exceed CHF 35.- per person and day (probably quite a bit lower).

For people arriving from abroad, accommodation from the 6th to the 7th of June on the premises is also possible.

The exact costs for meal and accommodation will be provided after the registration deadline (May 31).

Informations complèmentaires :

En plus du prix des cours au dessus, il y aura des frais pour le logement et les repas. Nous avons pu organiser la présence d'un cuisinier pour préparer nos repas pendant l'intégralité du workshop.
Nous avons décidé de proposer un logement et les repas à un prix dégressif selon le nombre de participants. Le prix de l'hébergement n'excèdera pas 33 francs suisses par personne par nuit, et les repas complets ne devraient pas excéder 35 francs suisses par personnes par jour (probablement pas mal moins)

Pour les personnes venant de loin, l'hébergmeent du 6 au 7 juin sur place sera également possible.

Les prix exacts pour l'hébergement et les repas seront annoncés après la date limite de réservation (le 31 mai).

Two places for the workshop from June 7- 11 have become available again due to cancellation, the rest is fully booked!
So don't miss this great opprtunity to spend a few late Spring days in the Swiss mountains.

Your (non didgeridoo playing) partners are also very welcome to stay with us. They will have to pay for food and accomodation only, if they don't join the course. The place is wonderfully suited for hiking, any other mountain sports or just relaxing in the nice swiss mountain area. Probably they are interested in joining the N'goni course?


In addition, Jeremy will offer a N'goni course in the evenings. This can be booked together with the Yidaki workshop or joined separately. Please let us know in advance when you are interested, so Jeremy will bring the right amount of instruments. You will also have the possibility to buy one of the beautiful instruments, which Jeremy makes by himself.
