Didge in India

Are you a fan of the didgeridoo?
India and love trecking just like us?
You have time in the (or around) Easter holiday?

Maybe this is something for you...

We, Markus Meurer and Lies Beijerinck, are didgeridoo players and teachers and are organizing a 2 week trip to North India.
We are hoping to find 12 people who want to join us.

Here’s the plan:
Start Saturday 22nd of March 2008

Day 1: Fligh to New Delhi (toghether if possible), sleep at a nice hotel.

Day 2: Little drive (only 6 hours :D) with Taxi to Haridwar and Relax.
Possibility to do Yoga (city of Yoga).

Day 3: Tour Rishikesh with personal guide (see fire ceremonies, funerals at the Ganges).

Day 4: Tour Haridwar with our personal guide, take the night train to Kathgodan (close to Nepal). This train has comfortable beds!

Day 5: Drive 3,5h with taxi/jeep (1h north of Almora) and walk half an hour from the road to this beautiful house (see photo), with porters for all the heavy didges.

Day 6 to day 11: In the Mornings 2 hours of didge workshop. We will
devide the group in 2 levels, one day you will follow a lesson with Markus, next day a lesson with Lies). Nice lunch and after 2 to 3 hours trecking in the foot mountains of the Hymalayas.
In the evening we will have a didge jamsessions.
Also there will be the possibility to have yoga lessons with Lothar Wester, check www.yoga-paderborn.de for more info.
We will visit a 1000 year old temple in the neighbourhood, and much much more.

Day 12: Travel back to New Delhi

Day 13: Arrive to New Delhi, sleep in a nice hotel.

Day 14: See New Delhi (visit Taj Mahal for instance)

Day 15: Return

Cost: € 900,-
What do we offer for this 900,-?

It includes all the travelcosts in India (so excluded flight to India, from Europe it will be around € 600,-) all the accomadation, food, porters, personal guide for the whole of 2 weeks, all the didgeridoo and yoga lessons.

More info contact.

Hello mis amis !!

Didge in India is going on -in September with Si Mullumby and Daniel Reid !
we are planning the next workshop this year end of September til October the next workshop with Si Mullumby from Wild Marmalade ( www.myspace.com/wildmarmalade ) and Daniel Reid ( www.danreid.org ) ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Reid ). Probably you know Si - he`s the didgeplayer of Wild Marmalade and well known for his rhythmical, powerful style of playing. Daniel Reid is one of Si`s best friends and a bestselling author and one of the greatest Qi Gong teachers ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qi_gong ). Daniels Qi Gong teaching is fundamental the beginning of Si`s didgeplaying. They composed a workshop in which you learn the powerful healthy way of Qi Gong-breathing and the power of Si`s percussive didgeplaying. So - you will get 2 weeks of indian culture in an amazing spot in the himalaja, an amazing beginners workshop of Daniel Reid in Qi Gong, advanced didgeplaying workshop of Si Mullumby. What you will learn from Daniel is enough to practise Qi Gong for many months or probably years at home.
We will have between 12-15 places on that amazing trip. If you are interested in that - please contact me.
A specified tour plan will follow.
cordialment
Markus
