Pour les anglophones, voici la description faite par "serious sticks" sur leur site::
Instruments of this quality by Don Weluk have become increasingly rare in the last few years. Years ago, Don's instruments were regarded as being exemplary for the Maningrida region, but later, Don started working as an artist, increasingly with modern media and materials and often painted instruments of questionable origin with acrylics. In a stark contrast to these instruments that were mainly made or painted for the tourist market stands this wonderful, entirely natural mago with a completely untouched bore and archaic ochre painting. An instrument of the highest cultural integrity with a primordial shape. This mago responds very easily and precisely, and has nicely articulated harmonics, good resolution and a lucid but not sharp sound spectrum. It's not a sledgehammer of an instrument but a typical mago that seduces one to explore the subtle nuances in the sound and to eke out the finer details.
